Ear Research Institute, 1980-1982

Pictures from the Ear Research Institute, later renamed the House Ear Institute.

Notable for their omission here: Curt Welch (moved back to Georgia to finish degree), Larry Helmerich, Sylvia Imler, Ed Zilberts and Judy Brimacombe (all not there yet, I think), Mike Danley and his co-worker (Franco?) (God knows why they're not among the Hatted -- I was using physical film and may simply have run out, and then I lost the hat off the back of my motorcycle).

My first computer boss. I had worked for him when he was a professor at Georgia Tech. He came to the Ear Research Institute and brought Curt Welch along, and when Curt decided to go back to get his degree, Dr. Brunjes thought of me.

She was actually kind of interesting and shy. Look at how she's dressed: an earring, a T-shirt that says, "Cochlear Implants are EAR-replaceable!", a leisure suit coat, a scarf, and, of course, a Hat.
