The focus looks a little soft here, but I don't see that the camera was obsessed on something else.
Also, notice that we've hit the magnification limit of the lens. Each pixel displayed on the 1024-pixel-wide version of this photo was an original single pixel from the camera -- any further and the images are just going to get smaller.
And I remember reading one reviewer's complaint that at this extreme, the focus on this lens was a little soft.
Of course, I'm over 100 feet away at this point...

Possible DrainI'm fairly sure that's what these things are. They're pointy upstream, and then have a hole on the downstream side. I pretty much had to have the zoom lens to get this shot, which was taken from up on the bridge.
